1. Write in a gratitude journal every day.

2. Listen to music the way you want to feel.

4. Laughter. 

This may sound simple but research has shown that it will probably help you feel happier. The response from the facial muscles to the brain can affect the development of feelings. You may smile when you see the next cute baby!

5. Follow your passion. 

Do something that makes you feel excited about it. Sign up in class to volunteer or learn something new for whatever reason you believe. Numerous studies have shown that people who feel a sense of meaning in their lives are healthier, live longer and achieve greater satisfaction.

6. Meditation. 

Even just seven minutes of meditation per day has been shown to improve mood, reduce stress and improve sleep. Regular meditators are calmer, have more self-awareness and have better focus.
