Optimistic tips

Here are some tips that can help you become more positive even after the negativity of what is seen around you. Hopefully, these have helped me as much as they have helped you change your outlook on life:

1. Count your prayers.

Sometimes, we focus on what we don’t get, so we feel zero. However, if you look around and are grateful for every little thing you have, you will feel better. Instead of feeling bad about what you didn't achieve or didn't achieve YET, focus on the blessings you received.

For example, you may not have a boyfriend or girlfriend and it makes you feel loveless, but if you focus your attention on your family or friends, you will realize that you are actually in love.

Also, you can envy your friends who can buy the latest gadgets they like and all you can do is a pre-owned mobile phone, but if you focus on communication the main reason you need a phone is that you will be thankful enough that at least you Use something to send a text or call your loved ones.

Instead of hating yourself for not having a budget to eat at luxury restaurants, be grateful that you can eat three times a day. Remember, some people will be very happy to find the left just to fill a hungry stomach.

2. Do not compare your achievements with others.

Comparisons are the top culprits that make you insecure. If you set the standard for others' lives, you will always see what you do not do. I am determined not to compare your achievements with what others have achieved. Life is not a race, so there is no need to pursue success.

Previously, I would have felt bad that my batchmate was already heading, and I wasn’t. Some are already physicians, lawyers, and directors. Many have completed their postgraduate degrees and some are already on a doctorate.

Me? I ruined my scholarship for undergraduates and dropped out of my courses as the semester ended. At first, I felt bad, but now I am grateful I did it because I was half-hearted when I was admitted (just to get a job opportunity scholarship). Now I’ve got a clear idea of what I want to follow and I’m glad I didn’t waste years for what I really didn’t want.

Others may think it will be too late for me to get a stable job but hey, I believe life is not stable about I can still study in my thirties or forties. And I can retire until I'm unemployed, can I? At least I was able to explore many exciting things about this world, meet different kinds of people and create memories that one day my grandchildren could create beautiful stories for grandchildren. And this is a success for me.

It probably took a few years before your college moved on or finished. Or until now you are still determined by what kind of career you will take. My advice is to stop tracking the other person's speed and concentrate on your own way so you don't stumble. Don’t make their schedule your own timeline. Create one for yourself and you will reach your dream in your own time, subtracting frustrations from envying others.

3. There is always an inspiration.

Did you know that people in love are usually motivated to work hard? Because they love loved ones to dedicate their achievements. Students want to graduate from college on time because they want to get a job, make their parents proud, and repay their hard work. A baby mother gets two jobs to give her baby a comfortable life. A husband and father always work soon to buy his family’s dream home with extra family. Not all of them mind spending time in trouble because they are doing it for people who are important to them.

Find inspiration around you. Or maybe you already have them, but sometimes you forget them when you are under pressure. Whenever you feel like leaving, remember the people who are important to you. Would they be happy if you gave up? Or how about those who depend on you? What will happen to them?

Remember who or what drove you to follow your accomplishments now. When you wake up every day, remind yourself about them so that you are motivated to do your best in what you do.

4. See failure as a stepping stone to success.

Failure is a part of life, so don't get discouraged easily once it gets in your way. All successful people also fail. But they did not give up what they wanted to achieve. They kept trying until they found out.

Changing your outlook on failure can help you get closer to success. Every time you fail, cry if you can, but don’t think it’s final. Learn from the experience and use it to prepare yourself for the next try. Turn the lesson into knowledge, and turn that knowledge into skill.

For example, you may have failed a job interview many times. Instead of being discouraged from looking for a job, make a note of what the interviewer told you. Some will give advice or hints on what you need to improve. If they say you need to work on your communication skills, do something about it. Practice expressing your thoughts when writing or speaking at home or participating in communication workshops or training.

5. Remove once.

Too much stress at work, study or at home can make you depressed. Therefore, pause yourself from time to time. Do something you like to do or stay in touch with nature.

Soaking in the sun on the beach is a good idea. You can also go for a walk or a walk in a park - or forest for a thrill. Why not go to a distant island or hometown on a holiday? Mother Earth has a way of appeasing us with its sheer beauty.

If you are not a nature-lover, you can find other activities that can make you relax. Go shopping or pamper yourself with body spas and massages. You may also have a change. If you like to eat, eat at your favourite restaurant or add a cheating day to your diet.

Relief can calm your mind from problems. It recharges both your physical and internal energy. It takes you away from the negative situations in your life and lets you see that something good is still happening around you.

Look at the bright side

Too much frustration can make you wrinkle. It also gives you energy and joy. So help yourself to see the bright side. No matter how big your problems are, it’s still not the end of the world. Take time to appreciate the good things around you. It gives you hope to try more and explore other opportunities.
